From the forests and mountains of the upper Nalón to its villages, mines, factories and industrial landscapes, each place preserves a part of a history that continues to evolve.

A TRIP THROUGH THE VALLEY
Roads, footpaths, ancient trade routes and mountain trails allow you to venture into some of its most spectacular landscapes and discover places that can only be reached by taking it one step at a time.
Explore the five stages of the GR Montañas del Nalón trail, choose from hiking routes, walks and easy paths, go for a run through the mountains or follow the trails linked to the history of coal. You can also explore the area through geotourism and discover how the mountains, the river, the rocks and the coal have shaped the Landscapes of the Nalón.
